Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Perform routine network maintenance, including configuration, backup, and patch management. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and connectivity issues promptly. Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Manage IP address schemes, VLANs, and network topology documentation. Ensure efficient bandwidth utilization and network optimization. Implement and maintain network security measures (firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, etc.). Support compliance with IT security policies and audit requirements. Respond to network incidents, diagnose root causes, and provide permanent resolutions. Log, track, and close issues through the ticketing system. Collaborate with application and server teams to resolve cross-functional issues. Monitor network usage, latency, and traffic patterns. Generate and analyze performance reports for optimization. Recommend infrastructure upgrades based on performance data. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and support. Maintain updated network diagrams, configuration files, and documentation. Participate in regular review meetings and provide technical updates.
