Internship Opportunity: Aerospace Engineer (Internship) Company: VJAITRA Air Mobility Location: IIT Delhi – Sonipat Campus Duration: 90 Days (Full-Time) Seats Available: 4 Stipend: As per performance & project contribution (if applicable) Start Date: as Per Selection About Us VJAITRA Air Mobility is India’s pioneering startup in Hydrogen-Powered VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) Air Taxis, incubated at IIM Lucknow and supported by IIT Delhi. We are revolutionizing urban and regional air mobility with sustainable technologies. Our team has filed patents for full-scale VTOL aircraft and is at the forefront of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) development. Role Overview We are looking for enthusiastic Aerospace Engineer (Internship) who are passionate about aircraft design, simulations, and advanced air mobility. The selected interns will work alongside our core engineering and R&D team on critical tasks related to VTOL aircraft design, validation, and digital prototyping. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and conceptualization of VTOL aircraft components (wings, fuselage, propulsion systems) Run aerodynamic, structural, and propulsion simulations using standard industry tools Support in 3D modeling, CFD/FEA analysis, and integration of flight dynamics models Contribute to optimization studies for efficiency, stability, and weight reduction Document technical results, prepare reports, and present findings to the team Collaborate with cross-functional teams in design, fabrication, and testing phases Preferred Tools & Skills Proficiency in any of the following: CATIA / SolidWorks / Fusion 360 (3D Modelling) ANSYS / COMSOL / SimScale (CFD/FEA Simulation) XFLR5 / OpenVSP / AVL / MATLAB Simulink (Aerodynamics & Flight Dynamics) Understanding of aircraft design principles and propulsion systems Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Good documentation and presentation skills Team player with a proactive learning attitude Eligibility Final year B.Tech / M.Tech students in Aerospace, Aeronautical.
