Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as an Audit Assistant - US GAAP, located in Kochi. The Audit Assistant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting financial audits, and generating audit reports. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial data, collaborating with team members, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP standards. The role also requires effectively communicating findings and recommendations to clients and management. We would be training the individual for the assignment. Looking for candidates who have completed their articleship and have good communication skills. Should be committed to provide atleast 1 year with us. Those intending to write their CA exams and require long leave need not apply for this post. Qualifications Experience in Audit and assurance Knowledge in QuickBooks will be prefered Good knowledge on Excel and Microsoft office tools Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations Ability to prepare financial reports and maintain financial records Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and accuracy orientation Chartered Accountant certification from ICAI or equivalent Preference to Big 4 experience and if worked on USGAAP assignments Working exclusively with US CPA firms on audit assignments Work Closely with Managers in VJA office + managers in US CPA firms office Preference to Knowledge on Caseware Application Expereince on USGAAP preferable Show more Show less
