Job Description: Sales Manager (Electrical & Rubber Products) Location: Delhi / NCR Experience Required: 5 to 10 Years Reporting To: Directors Role Type: Full-Time, Touring Profile (Pan-India Travel) 1. Position Overview The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth for electrical and rubber product categories through dealer/distributor networks, corporate clients, and institutional buyers. The role demands strong market understanding, consistent field touring across India, and capability to build and manage high-performing channel partners. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Sales & Business Development Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across assigned product categories. Expand dealer and distributor network in Delhi/NCR and across India. Develop new corporate and industrial customers. Identify emerging markets, customer requirements, and new business opportunities. B. Channel Management Appoint, train, and manage channel partners (dealers/distributors). Monitor partner performance, ensure order flow, and resolve issues promptly. Conduct regular market visits to strengthen partner relationships. C. Customer Relationship Management Build strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, electrical contractors, and industrial buyers. Provide product demos, technical presentations, and pre-/post-sales support. Handle customer queries, negotiations, and closure of deals. D. Touring & Field Activities Extensive touring across India (1520 days per month). Conduct site visits, dealer meets, exhibitions, and corporate sales meetings. Gather competitor insights and market intelligence. E. Reporting & Coordination Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports. Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, finance) for timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Report directly to the Directors regarding sales performance, challenges, and opportunities. 3. Required Skills & Competencies Strong experience in sales of electrical items, rubber products, insulating mats, industrial safety items, or related categories. Good understanding of dealer-distributor networks and corporate/industrial sales. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, travel extensively, and manage pressure. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting formats. 4. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Science / Commerce / Business Administration. MBA in Marketing (preferred, not mandatory). 5.
