Job Purpose - Support the sales team and distribution network to drive sales growth for wires and cables by managing orders, coordinating logistics, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities - Order processing: Receive, validate and enter customer orders into ERP/CRM; confirm order details, pricing, delivery dates and special requirements. - Customer liaison: Act as the first point of contact for customers on order status, delivery tracking, invoicing queries and after-sales support. - Coordination with internal teams: Work closely with production, warehouse, quality, and logistics to prioritize orders, schedule dispatches, and resolve capacity or quality issues. - Distributor & dealer support: Manage distributor inquiries, provide product information, order forecasts, and promotional materials; coordinate dealer schemes and periodic rollouts. - Documentation & compliance: Prepare sales documents (proforma invoices, invoices, delivery challans, packing lists), ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements (GST, export docs if applicable). - Pricing & quotations: Prepare and follow up on quotations, maintain price lists, and apply discount/credit approvals as per policy. - Sales reporting: Maintain and update sales dashboards, weekly/monthly reports, order books, receivables aging, and stock/OBL (open balance) reports. - Claims & returns: Handle customer complaints, warranty claims, returns and coordinate resolution with QA and manufacturing. - Forecasting support: Collect market feedback, assist in demand forecasting, and coordinate promotional campaigns with marketing. - CRM & data management: Maintain customer master data, lead tracking and ensure CRM hygiene. - Credit control support: Coordinate with finance to monitor receivables, follow up on overdue payments, and enforce credit terms. Key Responsibilities: Identify and target potential clients including system integrators, IT solution providers, construction companies, and electrical contractors. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term business success. Present product information, technical specifications, and pricing to clients. Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Stay up to date with market trends, competitor offerings, and new product developments. Provide feedback from the market to product and marketing teams. Generate sales reports and forecasts for management review. Requirements: Proven sales experience in network cables, electrical products, or related hardware. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution - Develop and implement yearly and quarterly sales plans aligned with business targets and capacity constraints. - Own territory/channel sales performance; set targets for distributors, dealers, and direct sales teams. - Manage key accounts (EPCs, contractors, institutional buyers, large distributors) and negotiate major contracts. - Monitor order book, pipeline, forecasts and ensure timely replenishment and production prioritization.
