Visiting faculty - Time series & forecasting

As a Visiting Faculty for Time Series & Forecasting at the Mumbai campus of a B.Sc./M.Sc. program in Data Science & Business Analytics, your role will involve imparting knowledge on Time Series Analysis, including ARIMA, SARIMA, and other forecasting models, decomposition, smoothing techniques, and the use of tools like Python (statsmodels), R, Excel, etc. You are expected to apply these models to various domains such as finance, operations, and sales prediction, showcasing both academic expertise and industry exposure in solving real-world problems. Key Responsibilities: - Teach Time Series Analysis including ARIMA, SARIMA, and other forecasting models - Instruct on decomposition and smoothing techniques - Demonstrate the use of tools like Python (statsmodels), R, Excel, etc. - Apply time series models in domains such as finance, operations, and sales prediction - Utilize a practical case-based teaching approach to engage undergraduate and postgraduate students effectively Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field - Industry or teaching experience in Time Series & Forecasting - Proficiency in Python/R for statistical modeling - Ability to effectively teach undergraduate and postgraduate students - Strong classroom delivery skills to ensure an engaging learning environment Please note that this role is specifically based in Mumbai and requires weekday lectures.
