Key Responsibilities: Patient Consultation and Assessment: Conducting thorough consultations to understand a patient's health history, lifestyle, and current health concerns. Diagnosis: Identifying imbalances and disturbances in the doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) using Ayurvedic principles and diagnostic methods. Treatment Planning: Developing personalized treatment plans that may include dietary adjustments, herbal remedies, Ayurvedic therapies (like Panchakarma), yoga, and meditation. Lifestyle Guidance: Providing advice on diet, exercise, stress management, and other lifestyle factors to support overall well-being. Patient Education: Explaining the principles of Ayurveda, the rationale behind treatments, and empowering patients to take an active role in their health. Maintaining Records: Keeping accurate and confidential patient records. Inventory Management: Managing the inventory of Ayurvedic products and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies. Professional Development: Staying updated on the latest developments in Ayurvedic medicine and maintaining high professional standards. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effectively communicating with patients, explaining complex concepts, and building rapport. Teamwork: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and delegating tasks to therapists or other staff members. Skills and Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Ayurveda (BAMS) or a related field is typically required. Experience: Proven experience as an Ayurvedic Practitioner or in a similar role is essential. Knowledge: A strong understanding of Ayurvedic principles, diagnostic methods, treatment protocols, and herbal remedies. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with patients, address their concerns, and provide empathetic support.
