Appian Technical Lead / Technical Solution Architect Location-Gurgaon, Bangalore, Panchkula, Hyderabad (India) We are seeking an accomplished Appian Technical Lead (or Solution Architect) with a strong track record in designing and delivering enterprise-scale BPM solutions. The ideal candidate will lead technical strategy, provide architectural vision, and mentor development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure Appian applications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex Appian-based systems, ensuring scalability and robustness. Mentor and coach Appian developers, promoting best practices and team excellence. ¢ Conduct code reviews and enforce standards for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability. ¢ Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Connected Systems, and Integration Objects. ¢ Drive platform upgrades, DevOps initiatives, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments. ¢ Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure quality deliverables. ¢ Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. ¢ Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSET ¢ 10 years of IT delivery experience, with 5+ years in Appian architecture or leadership roles. ¢ Strong experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum) with disciplined delivery. ¢ Expertise in Appian modules: SAIL, Process Models, Interfaces, Records, Sites, Reports, with advanced capabilities in AI Skills, RPA, Data Fabric, and plug-ins. ¢ Deep architectural understanding of integration techniques (REST/SOAP, JWT, SSO/SAML, LDAP), cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP), security best practices, and data modeling. ¢ Proven leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. ¢ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ¢ Appian Level 2 or Level 3 Lead Developer/Architect Certification ¢ Hands-on experience with Appian RPA, AI Skills, Data Fabric, and plug-in development ¢ Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, ANT), and automated deployment methodologies for Appian ¢ Background in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
