This includes identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers, negotiating optimal terms, and driving continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery performance. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including product compliance, finance, logistics, and category management to ensure seamless execution of sourcing operations. Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive sourcing strategies and establish structured supplier evaluation processes. Identify, assess, and onboard capable manufacturers globally to meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Distribute RFQs, analyze supplier responses, and negotiate favorable terms and contracts, including IP and confidentiality agreements. Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with quality and ethical standards. Partner with the product compliance team to uphold quality protocols and regulatory requirements. Monitor and manage supplier manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to delivery timelines and performance metrics. Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, product, marketing, finance, legal, logistics, and compliance teams. Develop negotiation and risk mitigation strategies to strengthen supply chain efficiency and resilience. Conduct periodic supplier reviews and re-bidding processes to maintain competitive cost structures. Support strategic sourcing initiatives for new product development and brand expansion. Demonstrated ability to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets in a fast-paced environment. Key Skills Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Regulatory Compliance Specialist BIS Company Name: VINCULAR Testing Labs India Pvt Ltd Website: www.vincular.in No. of Positions: 1 Location: Delhi / Bangalore Position Overview The Regulatory Compliance Specialist – BIS will be responsible for managing product certification and regulatory compliance under the ISI Mark , Scheme X , and OTR Certification Schemes . This role requires close coordination with clients, vendors, testing laboratories, and government bodies to ensure timely certification as per BIS and other applicable regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and regulatory understanding, proactive project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain deep expertise in ISI Mark, Scheme X, and OTR Certification Schemes (Domestic and FMCS). Prepare and review technical documentation in line with regulatory requirements. Manage end-to-end certification projects — from application to approval — while ensuring compliance with all standards. Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and government agencies. Maintain project trackers and provide regular status updates to clients. Communicate new regulatory updates and changes to clients promptly. Coordinate with testing laboratories and review test reports against applicable BIS standards. Support internal teams in customs clearance, sample management, and audit preparation. Identify opportunities to improve internal processes related to documentation and compliance. Represent the company in key industry associations (MAIT, CII, CEAMA, RAMA, etc.). Assist clients during on-site and pre-conformance audits. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed institute (Master’s degree preferred). Experience: 2 - 3 years of experience in Product Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or Compliance. Technical Skills Strong understanding of BIS regulatory requirements (ISI Mark, Scheme X, and OTR Registration). Familiarity with certification and licensing requirements under Quality Control Orders (QCOs). Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks for medical devices and cosmetics in India. Experience using the BIS online portal and managing compliance documentation. Exposure to consumer durables, footwear, textiles, toys, furniture, and electrical product compliance. Desirable: Experience in functional, safety, and reliability testing. Soft Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Strong client handling, coordination, and multitasking abilities. Confident in interacting with vendors, laboratories, and government representatives.
