We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Chemist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for running production shifts, conducting chemical analysis, and ensuring product quality and consistency on their designated shift. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Chemistry or a related field (MSc in Chemistry is a plus) Minimum of 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the manufacturing of unsaturated polyester resins Strong knowledge of chemical analysis techniques and laboratory equipment Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule including daytime and night-time shifts Strong problem-solving skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills (including speaking Kannada fluently Roles Responsibilities:: Conduct chemical analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using a range of laboratory techniques and equipment Follow and seek to improve established formulations and processes to manufacture various grades of unsaturated polyester resins in batch sizes ranging from 4T-8T Handle operators and workers and build a culture of safety, quality, and attention to detail Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely production, quality control, and continuous process improvement Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process and work with the team to find a resolution Maintain accurate logs of all production, testing, and re-formulation activities Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the production plant and laboratory Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and implement new methods and procedures nan
