Job Title Order Management Executive (Cement Truck Deliveries) Role Overview Responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of cement delivery orders, coordinating between the sales team, logistics, and customers to ensure smooth, error-free, and timely delivery of cement consignments via truck. Key Responsibilities Receive and validate delivery orders from the sales team, ensuring completeness and accuracy before processing. Coordinate with the logistics and transport teams to plan, schedule, and assign trucks for delivering cement to customer sites. Track order status from initiation to delivery, updating stakeholders (sales, customers, management) on progress and delays. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all orders, delivery schedules, issues, and resolutions in the order management system. Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to confirm availability and readiness of materials for dispatch. Resolve discrepancies, handle cancellations, prioritize urgent deliveries, and manage exceptions (address issues, truck delays, substitutions). Communicate professionally and promptly with customers regarding order confirmation, estimated delivery time, dispatch updates, and delivery confirmation. Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and documentation requirements for both company policy and industry standards. Generate daily/weekly reports on order delivery status, pending issues, and key operational metrics for management review. Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in their implementation to enhance order-to-delivery efficiency. Desired Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. Experience in order management, transport coordination, logistics, or dispatch roles is preferred. Good working knowledge of order management systems, Excel, and CRM tools.
