Job Title: School Receptionist (Onsite) Location: Bargarh, Odisha Employment Type: Full-time | Onsite About the Role We are looking for a friendly, professional, and well-organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our CBSE school. The receptionist will handle front-desk operations, visitor management, phone calls, and basic administrative tasks to support smooth school functioning. Prior experience in a school/college reception or office administration is preferred. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist parents, visitors, staff, and students at the front desk. Handle incoming phone calls, maintain call logs, and transfer queries to the right departments. Maintain visitor records and ensure proper security/entry protocols. Assist in scheduling parent meetings, interviews, and school events. Provide accurate information about school timings, rules, admission process, and CBSE guidelines when needed. Manage incoming/outgoing correspondence (emails, letters, couriers). Support administrative work such as filing, typing, photocopying, and data entry. Coordinate with teachers, staff, and management for smooth communication. Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming reception area. Requirements Graduate (Bachelor’s degree preferred). 1–3 years of experience as receptionist/front office staff (school/education sector preferred). Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Odia. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer operation. Pleasant personality, confident phone etiquette, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle parent/student queries with patience. Salary & Benefits ₹10,000 ₹15,000 per month (depending on experience). Supportive work environment. Opportunity to grow in school administration.
