Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Teacher Job Summary: The PE Teacher will plan and deliver structured physical education sessions designed to meet the fitness, health, and recreational needs of PU students (Class 11 & 12). The role includes coaching, organizing sports events, promoting physical well-being, and guiding students in developing lifelong fitness habits. Key Responsibilities: Design and conduct PE classes suited to PU curriculum requirements Introduce students to advanced physical fitness techniques, sports, and competitive games. Promote teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship in all activities. Prepare and guide students for intercollegiate tournaments and competitions. Ensure safe use of equipment and facilities, enforcing health and safety guidelines. Organize annual sports events, fitness workshops, and special athletic training sessions. Support the institutions extracurricular and co-curricular initiatives through active participation. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) or an equivalent qualification. Prior experience teaching or coaching PU/Junior College students preferred. In-depth knowledge of physical training, health science, and competitive sports. Strong interpersonal, motivational, and organizational skills. Ability to manage large student groups effectively while ensuring inclusivity. Work Environment: Part-time, on-campus role with periodic sports meets and after-college practice sessions. Involves both indoor and outdoor physical activities.
