Job Title: French Language Teacher PU College Location: Jakkur, Bengaluru, Karnataka Institution Type: Pre-University (PU) College – Karnataka State Board Job Type: Part-Time – 05 days. Reporting To: Principal / Head of Department Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and passionate French Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction to I PU and II PU students as per the Karnataka State PU Board French curriculum . Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and structured French language lessons aligned with the Karnataka PU Board syllabus for I PU and II PU. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in accordance with board guidelines. Ensure syllabus completion within the academic calendar and maintain consistent revision schedules. Conduct internal assessments, unit tests, mid-term, preparatory, and model exams. Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, performance, and progress reports. Provide remedial sessions or extra classes to support struggling students. Stay updated with PU Board exam patterns, question paper formats, and evaluation schemes. Coordinate with the academic coordinator or HOD for curriculum planning and improvements. Support students in preparing for board examinations and language competitions, if applicable. Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, training sessions, and academic reviews. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in French (B.A. / M.A. in French or equivalent or DELF, C1/ C2 Prior teaching experience at PU/Pre-University or high school level is desirable. Familiarity with the Karnataka PU Board French curriculum. Skills and Competencies: Excellent written and spoken proficiency in French and English. Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learner needs. Tech-savvy with the ability to use digital tools for teaching and evaluation (preferred).
