Video Editor

We are seeking an experienced Video Editor specializing in wedding films, short films, and web series. As a Video Editor, your responsibilities will include manipulating and editing film pieces seamlessly, understanding the production team's needs, reviewing shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list, assembling raw footage, inputting uncut rushes and sound, synchronizing and storing them into final films, and staying updated on the latest editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess 1-3 years of experience in video editing for commercial films, wedding films, trailers, and short films. While most of the work is conducted independently or with a director, collaboration with sound effects editors, music editors, and assistant editors may be required on larger projects. An ability to work under pressure, especially when faced with strict deadlines, is crucial. Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing is advantageous. A creative mindset, strong storytelling skills, and a Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field are preferred qualifications.
