Video Editor

About the Role

• We're looking for a multi-skilled Video Editor & Cinematographer who can handle the full spectrum of video content from shooting cinematic footage to designing, editing, and optimizing content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and ad platforms. The ideal candidate understands platform growth, social algorithms, and how to create videos that not only look good but also perform.
• If youre someone who has worked across education, finance, or tech, scaled video-first brands, led YouTube content strategy, and dabbled in AI tools we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

Cinematography / Video Shooting : -

• Plan, shoot, and direct branded content, interviews, explainers, founder videos, and social clips
• Set up studio and on-location shoots with proper lighting, composition, audio, and camera work
• Operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras, mics, gimbals, and other video equipment

Video Editing & Design : -

• Edit long-form videos for YouTube and short-form content for Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn, and ads
• Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects for cinematic editing, motion graphics, and storytelling
• Design custom thumbnails, overlays, and assets using Photoshop & Illustrator
• Perform basic sound editing and advanced color grading using Audition or DaVinci Resolve
• Convert raw footage into sharp, high-performing edits in multiple aspect ratios
• Software & Tools Expertise

Creative & Editing Tools : -

• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom
• Not mandatory but good to know:
• AI Tools (Hands-On Experience Preferred)
• Runway ML, HeyGen, Veed.io, Flux AI, ChatGPT
• MidJourney, Canva AI, Descript, ElevenLabs

Youre a Great Fit If You

• Have a strong portfolio that combines cinematography, editing, and design
• Understand the full content lifecycle: ideation ? shoot ? edit ? distribute ? analyze
• Are fast with feedback, deadline-driven, and naturally curious about new tools and platforms
• Are comfortable managing and training small teams of editors/designers if needed

Bonus Experience : -

• Worked in fintech, edtech, SaaS, or creator-first startups
• Built branded series or long-running YouTube channels
• Created content with/for founders, subject experts, or influencers.
