Video Editor - Trainee

In this role as a Video Editor Trainee at Adsparkx, you will be part of the Creative Performance & Branding department and contribute to editing videos for various digital platforms. Adsparkx is a performance marketing agency known for its media buying expertise and high-impact digital campaigns for top-tier brands in the US, UK, and Canada. As a Video Editor Trainee, your key responsibilities will include: - Editing short-form and long-form video content for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. - Collaborating with senior editors to create video ads that drive performance marketing results. - Enhancing videos with transitions, subtitles, sound effects, graphics, and animations. - Working on a variety of video projects including reels, promotional videos, testimonials, and product videos. - Coordinating with creative, design, and media buying teams to ensure final output aligns with brand guidelines. - Maintaining file organization and staying updated on editing trends and platform requirements. To excel in this role, you should have: - Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. - Knowledge of social media video formats and trends. - Creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to try new ideas. - Understanding of color correction, sound syncing, and motion graphics (a plus). - Ability to receive feedback and meet team deadlines. Eligibility for this position includes: - Freshers or students with coursework in video editing, multimedia, or animation. - A preference for candidates with a portfolio or sample work. - Strong interest in digital marketing and creative growth. During this 6-month internship, you will have the opportunity to learn about editing for performance-based ads, creative storytelling for digital platforms, basics of motion graphics, and effective file and workflow management.
