Video Editor

The Begusarai is one of the fastest-growing digital news and storytelling platforms dedicated to highlighting local voices and narratives from Begusarai and surrounding regions. We are now looking for a Video Editor to join our content team and help us take our visual storytelling to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit Reels, Shorts, Interviews, and Full-Length Videos for social media and YouTube
• Add B-rolls, transitions, subtitles, and sound design to enhance visual quality
• Work closely with scriptwriters and field teams to produce compelling digital content
• Stay up to date with current video trends and apply them to local storytelling
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality video content with a strong narrative style

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in video editing (Freshers with a strong portfolio can apply)
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.
• Basic graphic design skills for thumbnails (Canva/Photoshop)
• Knowledge of Hindi or local dialects (Angika/Maithili) is a plus
• Strong creative sense and ability to adapt quickly

Compensation & Benefits:

• ₹15000–₹30000 per month (based on experience and skill)
• Per-video payment model also available for freelancers
