VIDEO EDITOR

Techoftheday is looking for a creative, fast, and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for turning raw footage into compelling content that aligns with our brand and client goals. Your edits will appear across platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. You must be proficient in storytelling, understand platform-specific trends, and deliver high-quality videos under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into polished video content (shorts, reels, ads, explainers, etc.).
• Add effects, transitions, music, subtitles, animations, and motion graphics as required.
• Collaborate with content strategists, marketers, and designers to execute creative concepts.
• Optimize videos for various platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Maintain a clear post-production workflow: organizing files, managing versions, and backing up projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of videos while maintaining quality standards and brand consistency.
• Stay updated with trends in video editing, transitions, effects, and social media storytelling.
• Manage and maintain editing tools, templates, and asset libraries.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of proven experience in video editing (agency or brand experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and timing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their video formats.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
• A portfolio/reel of edited work is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with color grading and sound mixing.
• Knowledge of vertical-first editing for Reels/Shorts.
• Basic design knowledge (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
• Experience in editing educational or promotional content.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
