Video Editor - Social Media & Long-form Content

You are a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who will be responsible for editing social media videos, reels, and long-form YouTube content for multiple channels. You must have a strong sense of storytelling, design, and visual rhythm to make content stand out on today's social media platforms. A good understanding of Tamil (mandatory) and preferably Hindi will be advantageous for working with multilingual content. Key Responsibilities: - Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook - Work on both short-form (Reels, Shorts) and long-form content (vlogs, podcasts, branded videos) - Enhance storytelling by adding captions, graphics, transitions, and sound design - Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop engaging video ideas - Stay updated with the latest editing trends, social media styles, and viral video formats - Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting tight deadlines - Analyze performance and suggest improvements in video content and style Requirements: - Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in social media or digital marketing content - Strong command of video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent - Mandatory Tamil fluency; knowledge of Hindi or other languages is a strong plus - Creative mindset with good analytical skills to identify what works for audiences - Familiarity with current social media trends, meme culture, and editing styles - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Bonus Skills: - Motion graphics, animation, or After Effects experience - Knowledge of color grading and sound design - Experience in creating short-form ad creatives In addition to the above, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse creative projects for top social media platforms in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
