Video Editor (Short-form & Long-form Content)

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and fast Video Editor who understands Instagram Reels, fast-cut storytelling, and YouTube video editing. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of pacing, transitions, and audience retention.

This role is perfect for someone who lives on social media, understands trends, and can turn raw footage into engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels & Short-form Videos (fast cuts, hooks, captions, transitions)
• Edit YouTube videos (vlogs, interviews, educational & promotional content)
• Add motion graphics, text animations, and basic VFX where required
• Sync audio, music, and sound effects for high engagement
• Maintain brand style, consistency, and visual quality
• Deliver edits within tight timelines

Required Skills

• Strong experience in fast-cut editing for Instagram Reels
• Proficiency in any of the following tools:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve
• CapCut (advanced usage)
• Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and retention
• Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly

Must Have

• Portfolio / Showreel (Instagram, YouTube, or Google Drive links)
• Experience editing content specifically for social media platforms

Added Advantage (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of camera handling & shooting videos
• Understanding of framing, lighting, and basic cinematography
• Experience working with creators, brands, or startups
