Video Editor (Motion Storyteller)

The Video Editor role, also known as Motion Storyteller, requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing and content creation. To excel in this position, you should possess a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video editing skills. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is essential, along with a deep understanding of short-form content for platforms like Reels, Stories, and TikTok, as well as long-form content such as YouTube videos and documentaries. Additionally, expertise in motion graphics, animation principles, audio editing, music selection, color grading, and visual effects is crucial. Familiarity with current social media trends and video formats is a must, and photography and videography skills are considered a significant advantage. Your key responsibilities as a Video Editor will include creating and editing video content across various formats and platforms, translating intricate design concepts into engaging visual narratives, directing and shooting video content as necessary, overseeing the end-to-end video production process from ideation to final delivery, collaborating with marketing and communication teams on content strategy, ensuring a consistent visual style across all video content, handling quick-turnaround edits for social media, organizing and managing the video content library, staying abreast of the latest video trends and techniques, as well as training team members in fundamental video production skills. In this role, you will be crafting a diverse range of content, such as engaging social media content for Reels, Stories, and Long Form videos, detailed process videos and case studies, behind-the-scenes glimpses into studio culture, product launch and promotional videos, event coverage and documentation, educational and tutorial content, podcast video content, brand videos, and showreels. As a Video Editor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our visual storytelling, expanding and curating our video content library, establishing quality benchmarks for our video content, training team members in basic video skills, documenting our design process and impact, and creating template and style guides for video content.
