As a Video Editor, your role involves editing and assembling raw footage to create polished, professional videos that align with project requirements and deadlines. You will collaborate closely with the content team to grasp project goals, storylines, and video styles. Your responsibilities will include performing various editing tasks such as trimming, cutting, color correction, sound editing, and applying special effects. Additionally, you will be creating visually engaging videos for diverse platforms like social media, YouTube, advertisements, and corporate projects. It will be your duty to manage and upkeep video editing equipment and software, ensuring optimization for different platforms with correct formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios. In this role, you will be expected to work efficiently under tight deadlines while handling multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: - Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, professional videos meeting project requirements and deadlines. - Collaborate with the content team to understand project goals, storylines, and video style. - Perform video editing tasks including trimming, cutting, color correction, sound editing, and special effects. - Create visually engaging videos for social media, YouTube, advertisements, corporate projects, and more. - Manage and maintain video editing equipment and software. - Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms with correct formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios. - Work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other relevant tools. - Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and post-production processes. - Experience in creating videos for digital platforms (social media, YouTube, etc.). - A creative approach to video editing, with a strong eye for detail and storytelling. - Good knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and visual effects. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of motion graphics and animation (After Effects, etc.). - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
