Video Editor (Freelance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging video content.
• Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and content teams to understand project objectives.
• Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, graphics, and visual effects to enhance videos.
• Create short-form content for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to guidelines across all video outputs.
• Manage video libraries, organize footage, and maintain backups.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, social media, and technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role (portfolio required).
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, compression, and color grading.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Team collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn video formats.
• Experience with photography, script writing, or visual storytelling is a plus.
