Video Editor

As a Video Editor, your primary responsibility will be to transform raw footage into engaging videos across various platforms including YouTube, social media, and websites. You will collaborate closely with the creative team to develop captivating video content that aligns with project objectives. It will be essential to ensure the incorporation of high-quality sound, graphics, and visual effects to elevate the overall video production. Additionally, you will be tasked with organizing and maintaining a digital library of video footage, graphics, and project files. Adapting videos for different platforms and formats, such as mobile and web, will also be part of your role. Your input in brainstorming new video concepts for marketing, training, and promotional purposes will be highly valued. Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in video editing and production is crucial to excel in this position. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 2 years of proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar capacity. Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools is required. A strong grasp of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques is essential. Any experience with motion graphics and basic animation will be considered a plus. Your meticulous attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and work under pressure will be key to success. A creative mindset enabling you to conceptualize and execute compelling video content is desired. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are indispensable. A portfolio or demo reel showcasing your video editing work will be required to demonstrate your capabilities. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in color correction and sound design, proficiency in special effects, 2D/3D, and compositing, as well as familiarity with video equipment and production workflows.
