You will be responsible for trimming footage, adding music, sound effects, text overlays, and transitions. Creating thumbnails is optional but may be required. It is important to maintain brand style and tone across all videos. Collaboration with content creators is necessary to understand the script, goals, and target audience. Additionally, you will be required to add captions, motion graphics, or animations as needed and deliver videos on time, optimized for YouTube and social media. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut. A good sense of timing, audio syncing, and color correction is essential. Knowledge of YouTube trends and best practices, including hooks, retention, thumbnails, etc., is crucial. A basic understanding of YouTube SEO is a plus. Creativity and attention to detail are also important attributes for this position.
