Job Description: Video Editing/Production Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editing/production Creator to join our video production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, an understanding of current news editing and production trends, and the ability to transform complex topics into visually engaging 2-3minute videos. This role demands a mix of proven video production expertise, and creative flair to captivate viewers across digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation Understanding and translating scripts to make compelling videos. Source, film, and edit high-quality footage, ensuring the content is visually engaging. Integrate relevant graphics, animations, and subtitles to enhance storytelling. Translate scripts into digestible and impactful video stories. Technical Production Use AI tools to edit, sequence videos that adhere to the teams requirements and style Ensure audio-visual quality adheres to the channels broadcast and digital standards. Collaboration & Communication Adapt content for various platforms, social media, and the channels website. Work under tight deadlines to deliver timely and accurate and engaging news content. Requirements: Education & Experience: Preferably a bachelors degree in journalism, Communications, Media Production, or a related field. Minimum 2+ years of experience in video production and video editing field. Use and knowledge of AI-driven tools and platforms that create video/ content will be an added advantage. Skills: Demonstrated capabilities in understanding end-to-end video production phases. Strong understanding of the video script to identify/place associated video content Must be media savvy with a penchant to understanding and digesting developing news globally Demonstrated experience audio quality checking, vocal selection, BGM placements is very important Demonstrated experience of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After E[ects). Demonstrated capabilities of working in a fast-paced environment, with sharp attention to detail, template guidelines Knowledge of social media trends and platform-specific video requirements. Co mpetencies: A fast worker, with creative thinking to produce fresh and engaging content. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work e[ectively with a team. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
