Vice President - Technical Architect

As a Technical Architect at In4Velocity, you will be responsible for leading the technical architecture and design of web-based applications using Microsoft technologies such as ASP.Net, C#, and SQL Server. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the technical feasibility and success of projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members, and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the technical architecture and design of web-based applications using Microsoft technologies. - Preferably involved in web-based product development projects. - Proficient in release management processes. - Extensive experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar source control tools. - Hands-on experience with Facade Design Pattern. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives for software development processes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in technology. - Minimum 10+ years of prior experience in an Architect role. - Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting ability. - Good understanding of Database concepts/SQL, Web services/XML, Remoting. - Experience working with RDBMS, preferably SQL Server. - Knowledge of OOAD, UML, and design patterns. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Experience in Build & Configuration Management is a plus. - ASP, VB 6.0 & Crystal Report knowledge is a plus. - Experience in ERP is considered a plus. - Microsoft Certified Professionals preferred.
