Vice President - Systems Engineering

As an IT Infra Engineer at Goldman Sachs, you will be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of third-party platforms on on-prem infrastructure, onboarding SaaS applications, and implementing DevOps processes. Your strong understanding of software development, infrastructure, and operations will be essential in collaborating with developers and operations teams to ensure reliable and efficient software deployment. **Responsibilities:** - Help evolve continuous integration and deployment infrastructure - Create and maintain system design and operation documentation - Design and implement container orchestration strategy - Monitor and troubleshoot applications - Provide primary operational support for multiple software applications **Basic Qualifications:** - 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing continuous integration and deployment frameworks (e.g., Gitops) - Experience in Linux/Unix, Windows Operating system - Understanding of IT Network concepts including Firewall - Familiarity with standard IT security practices (e.g., TLS certificates, key management, OAuth, SAML) - DevOps/Infrastructure design and management experience at an enterprise level using infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, Terraform, or Ansible) - Experience with source control system (GitLab or GitHub) - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written **Preferred Qualifications:** - AWS or Kubernetes certification(s) - Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience - Experience working in the financial industry - Experience with cloud migration - Experience working with containers At Goldman Sachs, you will have access to best-in-class benefits including healthcare & medical insurance, competitive holiday & vacation policies, financial wellness & retirement support, health services, fitness benefits, child care & family care assistance, and more.
