As Vice President-QA Model Monitoring at Barclays, you will be leading the evolution of the digital landscape and driving innovation to ensure unparalleled customer experiences. Your role will involve designing, building, producing, and analyzing regular model monitoring reports to assess the fitness of models for their intended use. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor models in line with the Model Risk Policy and associated Standards. - Engage with stakeholders for design, data specifications, build, and implementation of model monitoring reports. - Document and review model monitoring results, conclusions, and recommendations with Model Owners. - Adhere to internal and external governance and controls requirements in the model monitoring process. - Provide deep dive and ad hoc analysis to support internal and external requirements. - Generate management reports, oversee operations, and escalate issues when necessary. **Qualifications Required:** - Versatility in coding practices - Strong grasp of credit risk model architecture - Specialized skills in model governance and analytics - Knowledge of statistical techniques like regression, time series, cluster analysis, and machine learning algorithms - Proficiency in statistical analysis using software like Excel, SQL, R, SAS, Python - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Your role will also involve contributing to strategy, driving recommendations for change, managing policies and processes, and delivering continuous improvements.
