Vice President - Network Engineer

As a key member of the Technology team at Macquarie, you will have the opportunity to work in collaboration with a global team, supporting Macquarie's network technology stack across its data and security domains. Your role will involve building a highly technical and diverse-skilled network team across both Data and Security portfolios, taking ownership of end-to-end delivery, and working with technologies such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, load balancers, firewalls, web proxies, and network access control systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage network teams across Data and Security technologies, leveraging your 10+ years of experience in this field - Troubleshoot issues using monitoring tools and accessing systems hands-on - Lead and drive high-impact incidents to resolution - Manage team rosters and ensure accountability for the team's delivery and performance management - Serve as the first point of escalation for technical, process, and management issues within the team - Collaborate with global and regional leads to foster a "One Team" culture **Qualifications Required:** - 10+ years of experience in managing network teams across Data and Security technologies - Hands-on experience in troubleshooting network issues - Strong leadership skills and ability to drive incident resolution - Experience in team management, including rostering and performance management - Ability to collaborate effectively with global and regional teams Macquarie is a global financial services group with a history of unbroken profitability over 56 years.
