Job Description – Social Science Teacher (CBSE) Position: Social Science Teacher Qualification: B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) Experience: Experience in handling Grades 9 & 10 – CBSE Curriculum Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/K2cEWftNrpaFQr2X6 Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Social Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills to teach CBSE Grade 9 and 10 students. The ideal candidate must be capable of delivering engaging lessons, ensuring conceptual clarity, and supporting students' academic growth. Key Responsibilities: Teach Social Science subjects (History, Civics, Geography, and Economics) for Grades 9 & 10 as per the CBSE curriculum. Prepare and deliver well-structured, interactive, and concept-based lessons. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in alignment with CBSE standards. Conduct formative and summative assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback. Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom. Assist students in developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and strong foundational knowledge. Coordinate with parents regarding student progress when required. Participate in academic planning, workshops, school events, and departmental activities. Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and academic records. Required Qualifications & Skills: B.Ed is mandatory (specialization in Social Science preferred). Prior experience teaching CBSE Grades 9 & 10 is essential. Strong command over English with excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to use digital tools, smart classes, and technology-based teaching aids. Good classroom management skills and a student-friendly approach. Passion for teaching and continuous professional development.
