VFX Paint Artist

As a VFX Artist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing high-quality visual effects, including clean plates, touchups, and cleanups frame by frame. Your expertise in painting and removing unwanted artifacts will be crucial to the success of the projects. Additionally, your photographic skills, such as understanding depth of field, shutter speed, aperture, composition, and framing, will be essential in producing outstanding visual effects. While focusing on the show's efficiency, delivery, and meeting deadlines, you will collaborate with the team leader to ensure the completion of assigned tasks effectively. Your ability to handle complex shots and maintain the overall quality of the shows will be instrumental in achieving the desired outcomes. Your technical skills in software such as NUKE, Photoshop, and Silhouette, along with your proficiency in sequence painting and some familiarity with animation techniques, will be vital in executing visual effects projects. Having a keen eye for paint composition, color, light, and shadow will further enhance the visual appeal of the projects. In addition to technical skills, soft skills are equally important for this role. Your attention to detail, strong visualization skills, and effective communication within the team will contribute to a collaborative work environment. Being receptive to feedback, punctual, and proficient in time management are qualities that will help you excel in this role. Your ability to complete projects ahead of schedule will be valued in meeting project deadlines. This is a full-time position with a morning shift schedule.
