VFX - Assistant Professor (Animation Department)

As an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in the Department of Animation at Chandigarh University, your role will involve teaching and mentoring students to excel in the art of storytelling through visual effects and digital innovation. You will be responsible for integrating hands-on learning with industry-relevant tools and techniques, as well as collaborating on academic research and creative projects in animation and VFX. Key Responsibilities: - Teach and mentor students in VFX areas such as Compositing, Matchmoving, FX, and Simulation - Utilize software proficiency in Autodesk Maya, PFTrack, Foundry, Nuke, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop - Integrate hands-on learning with industry-relevant tools and techniques - Collaborate on academic research and creative projects in animation and VFX Qualifications Required: - Strong academic or industry background in VFX - Passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of creative innovators If you join our team, you will be part of a department with a legacy of nurturing award-winning talent, working in state-of-the-art labs equipped with industry-standard technology.
