As a Mid-Level VFX Animator at our company, you will play a crucial role in creating captivating and realistic visual effects animations for various projects. You will collaborate with the creative team to bring projects to life and ensure high-quality animations that meet project requirements and visual style guidelines. Your expertise in character and creature animation will be key in delivering visually stunning sequences for film, television, and other media projects. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications required for this role: Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and visual style guidelines. - Create high-quality, dynamic, and visually stunning animations for film, television, or other media projects. - Work closely with other artists to integrate animations seamlessly into scenes. - Create character and creature animations in line with project requirements and artistic direction. - Take direction from senior artists to refine animations and achieve desired visual effects. - Utilize strong understanding of anatomy, movement, and acting principles to craft compelling performances. - Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve any animation-related technical issues. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - 4-9 years of experience as a VFX Animator with expertise in character and creature animation, demonstrated in a strong demo reel. - Proficiency in animation software such as Maya, Unreal Engine, or Blender. - Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, and movement. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with artists and team members. - Keen eye for detail and passion for delivering high-quality visual effects animations. - Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
