Role Description This is a full-time on-site, role for a Textile Designer, located in Madhavaram Handloom Cluster, Madhavaram Village, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The Textile Designer will be responsible for creating Textile designs for hand weaving patterns, Textile Prints, Embroideries and developing graphics. The role includes working with various textiles and incorporating graphic design elements into fabric designs. Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating with the design team, Hand weavers, researching textile trends, and ensuring designs meet the company's sustainable and ethical standards. Qualifications Skills in creating Textile Graphics for hand weave, Embroidery and Prints Understanding to convert textile graphics into Block Prints, Screen Prints and Hand Batiks Expertise in Textiles and using Graphic Design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Experience with Graphics and design principles Strong visual and creative skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative environment Relevant experience in sustainable fashion and ethical manufacturing is a plus Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
