You will be working as a Faculty in Naval Architecture at Department of Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering, School of Maritime Studies, VISTAS, Thalambur Chennai. Your responsibilities will include teaching, research, and academic support activities related to Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Teaching students in the field of Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering - Conducting research activities related to the maritime sector - Providing academic support to students and colleagues - Utilizing research skills for continuous academic development - Demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills in the field - Maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students and peers - Preferably holding a Masters Degree or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering field - Prior teaching experience will be preferred - Having knowledge in Maxsurf, SACS, Moses software will be an advantage Qualifications Required: - Degree in Naval Architecture / Offshore / Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with relevant work experience in Shipyards or Ship Design Industry - Research skills to contribute to the academic environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues - Preferably holding a Masters Degree or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering field - Prior teaching experience will be an added advantage - Knowledge in Maxsurf, SACS, Moses software will be beneficial Please note, this is a long-term permanent position and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.,
