Job Title: Production Manager Department: Production Location: Hyderabad Reports To: Director Experience Required: 2 to 5 years in FMCG manufacturing Qualification: B.Tech / Food Technology or related field Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Manger with 2-5 years of experience in the FMCG industry. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, optimizing productivity, and maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to meet targets in terms of quantity, quality, cost, and timelines. Monitor the performance of machines and production lines to ensure minimal downtime. Implement and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain production records, including shift reports, raw material usage, and wastage. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards. Manage and train shop floor workers and line operators. Ensure effective utilization of manpower and machinery. Assist in inventory control and coordinate with the warehouse for raw material availability. Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest changes to increase efficiency. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations as per company policy. Key Skills & Competencies: Sound knowledge of production planning, execution, and reporting. Exposure to modern FMCG manufacturing processes and equipment. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of ERP systems is a plus. Strong interpersonal and team management skills. Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Willingness to work in shifts, if required. The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading a team of high performing individuals who own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.
