Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using Python for Optical DWDM/OTN systems, with a strong emphasis on ODU/OTU or lambda-level switching. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, requirements, and test plans, incorporating ODU/OTU or lambda-level switching considerations. Configure and operate testing equipment such as optical spectrum analyzers, power meters, and traffic generators, focusing on lambda-level granularity. Perform comprehensive testing of DWDM/OTN systems, including signal quality analysis, BER testing, and protocol compliance verification at the ODU/OTU or lambda level. Analyze test results, identify issues, and work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve them, with specific attention to lambda-level switching functionality. Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks and scripts, incorporating ODU/OTU or lambda-level switching capabilities. Document test procedures, results, and any relevant findings, with detailed insights into lambda-level switching performance. Requirements: Engineering Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field. Extensive experience in Optical DWDM/OTN testing, with in-depth knowledge of ODU/OTU or lambda-level switching concepts. Proficiency in Python programming language for test automation, with a focus on developing scripts tailored to lambda-level testing scenarios. Hands-on experience with test equipment such as optical spectrum analyzers, power meters, and traffic generators, with a specific emphasis on lambda-level granularity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnosing and resolving issues related to lambda-level switching functionality. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Prior experience with network testing, automation frameworks, or CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
