Veg Oil Trader

You will be responsible for trading in Veg Oil as a Trader, located in Haryana Gurgaon 26901. Your primary role will involve engaging in face-to-face and remote selling to both new and existing customers. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in income generation and risk management through the execution of routine or complex trading tasks. Your key accountabilities will include executing and monitoring short-term trading strategies and books for a specific commodity, market, or customer based on speculative and hedged positions. You will be required to reconcile profit and loss estimates and reports, track customer and competitor activity, and stay updated on industry trends. Understanding the complexities of oil and pricing mechanisms, especially in trading Veg/Soybean oil/Palm Oil/Sunflower Oil, will be crucial for success in this role. Furthermore, you will be expected to contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies, identify potential customers, and enhance existing customer relationships. You will also need to merchandise edible oil cash into the local market and take positions if necessary for local oil at different ports such as Kandla, JNPT, Haldia, Chennai, and KP. Additionally, you should be able to independently resolve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision and escalate more challenging problems to the appropriate staff when needed. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field or possess equivalent experience. A minimum of five years of relevant work experience in trading veg oil is required, along with connections to Indian local players and brokers.
