Role & responsibilities Maintain and safeguard Verga Property such as designs, drawings, models, concepts and other documents under the Quality management system and order Management Systems. Regularly maintain and update Engineering Bill of Materials and revision levels. Update in ERP after scrutiny. Ensure MRP is run and indents are generated without undue delay. Create Part no. in the ERP as and when required and control the ERP Part numbers. Prepare manual indents for Raw Materials and Long Lead items as required by the purchase team. Ensure control over the creation of manual indents. Create indents for rejected materials without undue delay, duly record the details of NC in such indents. Act as Interface with production& procurement staff to solve their MRP & Indent related issues. Interact with Procurement, Production, Quality, Planning and Production personnel to ensure Organizational goals, Production plan/schedule, and CRD are met. Effectively communicate and share information with colleagues as part of the design process. Coordinates BOM management with all departments outside of Engineering Works with operations and purchasing to coordinate activities. Coordinates change management tasks with customers and suppliers. Calculates material requirements for various products and Coordinates with purchasing for special materials when required. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned. Providing APL Links in item master. Preferred candidate profile Male Candidates from Heavy fabrication industry experienced and can join immediately would be preferred..
