We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Food Technologist with expertise in organic food products. The role involves developing, testing, and ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of organic food items in line with international organic standards. The candidate will work on product innovation, process optimization, and regulatory documentation while supporting sourcing, production, and certification requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and improve organic food products, ensuring compliance with NPOP, NOP, USDA Organic, EU Organic, and other international organic standards. Conduct nutritional profiling, shelf-life studies, sensory evaluations, and product trials. Ensure strict adherence to organic certification requirements across sourcing, processing, labelling, and packaging. Work closely with farmers, suppliers, and procurement teams to ensure raw materials meet organic quality standards. Monitor and optimize production processes to maintain consistency, quality, and sustainability. Collaborate with QA/QC teams to conduct regular audits, inspections, and product testing. Maintain detailed documentation for certifications, traceability, and regulatory compliance. Research consumer trends and support innovation in organic, superfoods, health-focused, and sustainable product lines. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or related discipline. In-depth knowledge of organic standards (NPOP, USDA, EU, JAS, etc.) and food safety systems (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP). Strong understanding of organic certification processes and audits. Analytical skills for lab testing, food composition analysis, and troubleshooting. Excellent documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance skills. Effective communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Experience: 2–5 years of experience in organic food industry (R&D, QA, QC, or Production). Hands-on exposure to organic cereals, pulses, spices, oils, superfoods, or packaged foods. Experience in liaising with organic certification bodies and handling export documentation will be an advantage.
