As an Offshore Practice Lead for App Development at Ved Innovations, you will play a key role in leading and expanding our Application Development practice. Your primary responsibilities will involve building, mentoring, and managing offshore development teams to ensure the successful delivery of enterprise-grade applications. With your strategic leadership, technical expertise in full-stack development, and client-centric mindset, you will collaborate closely with sales and practice teams to understand customer requirements, develop technical solutions, and effectively communicate the value of these solutions to potential clients. With over 10 years of experience, the ideal candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and engineering leadership roles. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and C# is essential, along with a deep understanding of design patterns, system architecture, and microservices. Hands-on experience with AI-driven development tools and practices, as well as knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, are crucial for this position. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform), will be highly beneficial. Excellent communication and leadership skills are also required to excel in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience in managing geographically distributed teams, knowledge of machine learning models and AI frameworks, familiarity with DevSecOps and security compliance frameworks, and a strong background in performance optimization and large-scale application architecture.
