Job Location : SEZ, Pune. Position : Autodesk Vault Engineer Experience : 1-3 years of experience Qualification : Bachelors degree (B.E. OR B. Tech) in Mechanical OR Civil or CS Masters in Computer Applications OR Masters in Computer Management Responsibilities : This position is for Autodesk Vault Engineer with knowledge of the following: Analyze and comprehend customer requirements to configure the Autodesk Vault application accordingly. Implement, administer, configure, and maintain Autodesk Vault Professional environment. Develop and manage Vault lifecycles, categories, and revision schemes. Manage user roles, permissions, data backups and security settings within Vault. Integrate Autodesk Vault with CAD software like AutoCAD, Inventor and SolidWorks. Coordinate Vault upgrades, patches, and service packs. Collaborate with IT and engineering to ensure alignment of Vault with business processes. Assist with data migration or Vault replication if required across multiple sites. Implement custom plugins, scripts, and tools to extend and optimize the functionality of Autodesk Vault. Support design and engineering teams with Vault-related issues and troubleshooting. Train end-users and conduct onboarding sessions for new team members. Skills/Abilities: Implement, and maintain Product Data Management (PDM) systems to effectively manage the product data in accordance with specified requirements. Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to deliver clear and effective presentations. Exhibit a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges. Proactively identify and resolve bugs or issues within the application. Collaborate closely with peers to ensure seamless integration and improvement of system functionality. Vault API Knowledge OR Vault Plug-in development would be added advantage
