Job Title: Purchase Officer / Procurement Officer Location: Pratapgarh Uttar Pradesh Key Responsibilities: Procurement Operations Manage the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services. Raise purchase orders (POs) in line with company policies and budget constraints. Vendor Management Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-efficiency and timely delivery. Inventory Coordination Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Ensure timely replenishment of materials without overstocking or stockouts. Cost Control & Analysis Monitor and control procurement costs by sourcing competitively priced alternatives. Conduct regular market analysis to identify pricing trends and reduce procurement spend. Compliance & Documentation Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements for audits and internal use. Interdepartmental Collaboration Work closely with departments like Finance, Production, and Logistics to understand procurement needs. Provide timely updates on delivery schedules and potential supply chain disruptions. Reporting & Performance Tracking Generate procurement reports to analyze supplier performance and cost metrics. Support budgeting and planning activities with data-driven insights. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.). Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
