About the role: We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Fashion Designer who understands the nuances of women’s wear, embroidery, and garment construction. You’ll play a key role in concept development, sampling, and production, while leading a team and ensuring design quality aligns with brand standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop seasonal collections focused on women’s wear, with a strong eye for embroidery details Supervise sampling and stitching to ensure accurate construction and finishing Create detailed technical specs using CorelDRAW and maintain data using Excel Work closely with the production and merchandising teams for smooth execution Manage a small team of tailors/design assistants, ensuring timelines and output Take proactive decisions during design development and troubleshooting stages Stay updated with market trends, fabrics, embroidery techniques, and silhouettes Required Skills: Strong understanding of embroidery techniques, placements, and fabric compatibility Solid knowledge of women’s wear silhouettes, fabrics, and construction Hands-on experience with CorelDRAW for flat sketches and design layouts Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for costing, inventory, and spec sheet management Ability to lead a team and handle workflow independently A go-getter attitude with the confidence to take creative and operational decisions
WE REQUIRE A PROFICIENT ENGLISH SPEAKER WITH ADDITONAL KNOWLEDGE OF MS EXCEL AND SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS. ABILITY TO WORK WITH TEAMS AND CORDINATE SALES.
