Role & responsibilities The Billing and Insurance Executive is responsible for managing the billing operations and insurance claims processes to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for services rendered. This role involves coordinating with patients, insurers, and internal departments to verify coverage, resolve claim issues, and optimize revenue collection. * Generate, review, and submit accurate medical bills and invoices to patients and insurance providers. * Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims or bills. * Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to service delivery. * Liaise with insurance companies regarding pre-authorizations, claims status, and denials. * Process and resubmit denied or rejected insurance claims in a timely manner. * Assist in resolving patient billing inquiries and discrepancies. * Maintain up-to-date records of all billing and insurance activities. * Work closely with the finance and clinical teams to ensure seamless revenue cycle operations. * Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal billing and insurance regulations. * Prepare reports on billing performance, claims status, collections, and trends. * Participate in audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
