Roles and Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day work of the Plumbing & Firefighting team. Manage designs and implementation, including HVAC, pumping, Fire Fighting, and piping systems from initiation through successful closure for new projects. Carry out design and implementation of all Plumbing & Firefighting systems on all assigned projects to be handled in-house. Analysis of repetitive equipment failures. On a spot basis, witness, review and comment on contractors testing and commissioning results and advise management accordingly. Tracking of all Request for Information (RFI), change orders and other pertinent documentations on Plumbing & Firefighting systems on all projects. Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the Plumbing & Firefighting equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification, regulatory and other requirements. Direct, monitor and control the activities of Plumbing & Firefighting Subcontractor. Supervising contractors, labours, vendors to ensure that work follows specifications and meets deadlines. Inspecting work sites for code compliance and safety hazards. Ensuring that all plans meet regulatory requirements. Facilitate as a problem solving, as may arise, among Plumbing & Firefighting subcontractors, clients, vendors etc. during construction. Validate design issues related to Plumbing & Firefighting and suggest alternative solutions. Coordination and administration of Plumbing & Firefighting related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals Ensure billing done on timely manner.
The Project Manager-Plumbing & Firefighting is the interface between the employer and the contractor and is responsible for the successful delivery of the project to the required standard and program. Roles & Responsibilities: Meeting regularly with clients to discuss project progress and issues that may arise during the course of the project Managing and overseeing the entire project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, procurement management, etc. Overseeing the project teams work to ensure that they meet deadlines and milestones Reviewing project deliverables to ensure that they meet requirements and specifications Monitoring changes in legislation and industry trends to ensure that projects are up to date with best practices Providing technical expertise and experience where needed to solve complex problems Managing subcontractors or vendors to ensure that they meet deadlines and deliver high-quality products or services according to specifications Communicating with stakeholders about project status, risks, and challenges Managing conflict among team members to ensure that all parties are on the same page Ensure timely processing of vendor bills via site managers as per Contracts / POs including advances payments, running account bills and final bills. Do necessary checks of measurements and relevant supporting documents wherever applicable to ensure proper certification by site managers.
