We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apparel Production Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end production process for our exclusive Uniform and T-shirt brand engaged in domestic and exporting of uniform and t-shirt. The ideal candidate will ensure that our garments meet the highest standards of quality, are produced on schedule, and align with our brand's ethos of craftsmanship, tradition, and innovation. This role requires excellent leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of apparel production processes, focusing on Western designs. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Management: Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of garments. Allocate resources efficiently and coordinate with various departments, including design, sourcing, and quality control. Monitor production workflows and optimize processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards that reflect the exclusivity of the brand. Conduct regular quality checks at all stages of production to ensure consistency and excellence. Address and resolve production issues promptly, minimizing wastage and delays. Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, artisans, and manufacturers. Source high-quality fabrics, trims, and materials that align with the brand's identity. Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with ethical and sustainable production practices. Cost Management: Monitor and control production budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources without compromising quality. Analyze production costs and suggest areas for improvement or savings. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor production teams, including supervisors, tailors, and support staff. Provide clear communication and foster a collaborative working environment. Compliance and Sustainability: Ensure production meets industry standards, labor laws, and safety regulations. Promote sustainable practices in production, including waste reduction and eco-friendly material sourcing. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Apparel Production, Fashion Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in apparel production, preferably with a focus on premium or exclusive western wear. Skills: In-depth knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, including pattern-making, cutting, stitching, and finishing. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in production management tools and software. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with textiles, embroidery, and craftsmanship techniques. Familiarity with sustainable and ethical production practices. Ability to manage relationships with karigars (artisans) and workshops. Job Type: Full-time.
