Job Description: Warehouse & Logistics Manager Company: Vanasatya Organic Farms Location: Kolkata (On-site, warehouse) Employment Type: Full-time About Vanasatya Vanasatya Organic Farms is expanding into fresh organic fruits & vegetables supply for quick-commerce partners in Kolkata. We run a high-intensity, time-sensitive operation where quality and speed are everything. Role Summary Own end-to-end warehouse and logistics for daily fresh-produce operations—from inbound receiving to grading, packing, dispatch, and delivery coordination. This is a time-consuming, hands-on role that requires flexible, extended hours aligned to operational peaks (early mornings, late evenings, weekends as needed). Key Responsibilities • Warehouse Ops: Oversee receiving, grading, sorting, packing; maintain hygiene, temperature, and FIFO; reduce spoilage/wastage. • Inventory Control: Daily cycle counts, shrink/waste tracking, traceability documentation, and audit readiness. • Dispatch & Logistics: Plan dispatches to partner hubs; manage fleet/3PLs; optimize routing and cost per drop; ensure OTIF. • People Management: Hire, train, and roster packers/loaders/supervisors; enforce SOPs and safety. • Quality & Compliance: Adhere to organic handling standards; comply with FSSAI and safety norms; CAPA for deviations. • Reporting: Daily MIS—inbound/outbound, stock, wastage %, order fill rate, OTIF, per-kg handling cost. Must-Haves • 3–6 years in FMCG/grocery/agri supply/quick-commerce warehousing or logistics. • Proven hands-on leadership on the floor; comfortable with long/irregular hours based on business need. • Strong command of inventory practices, cold-chain basics, and last-mile coordination. • Excel/Google Sheets proficiency; experience with WMS/ERP preferred. • Problem-solving mindset; calm under pressure; owner’s attitude.
